Medical Support Fund for Autistic Child

Project Description

Medical Support for an Autistic Child

Assistance Fund Handover – Project Report

Date: 10 August 2026

The Rotary Club of Nemmara, as part of its commitment to serving the community, undertook a humanitarian initiative to provide medical support to a bedridden boy with congenital autism.

Understanding the family’s financial difficulties and the child’s ongoing medical requirements, the club members came together and contributed according to their ability to raise a small assistance fund. The collected amount was handed over directly to the child’s mother to support the child’s treatment and continuing medical needs.

The assistance fund was handed over during a visit to the family led by Rotarian K. V. Manikandan, Rotarian Ramesh V., President Rotarian Ramadas C., and Secretary Rotarian Shafeek M.

Although the contribution was modest, it is hoped that this support will provide some relief to the family and help them meet a portion of the child’s medical and related expenses.

The Rotary Club of Nemmara sincerely expresses its heartfelt gratitude to all Rotarians who extended their support and participated in the fund-raising efforts for this compassionate initiative.

Through this project, the club once again reaffirms its commitment to serving those in need and making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable families in our community.

May our small gesture of support bring greater hope, strength, and comfort to the child and his family.
